What we are looking for :
The Application Support Engineer is responsible for first and second level support of IT applications, monitoring, reporting, troubleshooting and rigorous follow-up of identified problems.
You will have in-depth knowledge of all the IT systems and applications within the organisation, and will be able to diagnose and resolve problems and escalate them to the L3 team to ensure business continuity.
You will report functionally to the IT Systems Engineer Team Leader, reporting to the IT Manager.
Your role :
- Provide level 2 support;
- Provide solutions to ongoing IT problems;
- Provide technical feedback and write incident reports;
- Maintain and support business applications according to existing procedures;
- Monitor and coordinate incident resolution with various suppliers and internal IT teams;
- Participate in disaster recovery testing;
- Participate in on-call rotation;
- Document and update system recovery procedures.
