Rsecure, established in April 2021 in partnership with Rcarré, specializes in providing cybersecurity solutions tailored to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Their strategy revolves around the H.O.P methodology, which focuses on Humans, Tools, and Processes with the aim of ensuring optimal security. In this article, we will explore the birth of Rsecure, its founders, and its dedication to cybersecurity excellence.

The birth of Rsecure…

Luc Cottin, the driving force behind Rsecure, has an unwavering passion for cybersecurity. He spent 14 years as the Chief Information Security Officer at Alter Domus. In 2014, he embarked on a Master’s program in Cybersecurity at the University of Luxembourg, which he successfully completed with flying colors. For him, establishing Rsecure was a natural progression. In an era fraught with cyberattacks, including phishing and ransomware, it was time to put his expertise to work for businesses in need.

And Matthieu?

At just 25 years old, Matthieu already boasts an impressive track record. After successfully completing his bachelor’s degree in computer science, he pursued a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, culminating in an internship at Rsecure. Today, as an Information Security Officer, Matthieu leverages his skills to guide clients towards enhanced security.

The Future on a Grand Scale ?

At Rsecure, opportunities abound for future initiatives. However, they share a common goal: real-time evolution, in tandem with the constant development of attack techniques.

For 2023, their team aims to focus more on their “CISO all in” service. To provide context, the CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) is responsible for establishing a security strategy and safeguarding an organization’s data. In an “all in” service, encompassing monitoring, strategy, objectives, the CISO takes care of it all.

But there’s more. Rsecure is also set to launch a new Business Unit: Ethical Hacking! The principle is straightforward—an authorized attempt to hack into computer systems to identify vulnerabilities. This aligns with Rsecure’s approach to continuously improve their clients’ IT security.
