A start-up in the world of data

Founded in 2022 by Fabien Rendina and Thomas Czertow, two former colleagues united by the same ambition, Future is Data responds to an identified need in the market: to offer a document management solution tailored to the challenges of the financial professions. Today, the company employs around ten people, has over 40 customers and is growing steadily.

Future is Data’s vision is based on a simple but effective rule: the solution developed must be intuitive, integrated into the Microsoft ecosystem, business-oriented and, above all, high-performance.

A comprehensive data offering

Future is Data does not limit itself to its DMS (Document Management System). The company also offers a Power Platform Consulting service, providing support on PowerBI, Power Apps and Power Automate, to harness data, automate workflows and create business applications. And Finance Consulting, a consulting service with financial experts to optimize accounting and budgeting processes.

For the D360 solution, Future is Data has strengthened its partnerships, in particular with Rcarré, which provides a Cloud Officer dedicated to optimizing customer use of the platform.

Value Partners, a major player in the financial sector, adopts D360

Value Partners, a Luxembourg-based investment fund services company, began working with Future is Data two years ago. The reason: a need expressed by their clients for easy access to their documents, while ensuring a high level of security and traceability.

“We needed a solution that would enable us not only to centralize documents, but also to involve our customers in their management,” explains Sébastien Denis, Accounting Director at Value Partners. “Very quickly, we realized that D360 went far beyond a simple storage tool.”

In terms of integration, the platform takes advantage of Microsoft 365 and OneDrive tools, enabling fluid, secure and centralized document management. Metadata associated with each document facilitates searching and sharing, even between different entities.

“It only takes two or three clicks to find a document. For the customer, it’s simple and transparent, and for us, it’s a considerable time-saver,” confides Sébastien Denis.

A lever for efficiency… and differentiation

In addition to its operational aspects, D360 has established itself as a marketing tool : its scalability appeals to prospects in search of innovation. The Value Partners IT team remains in charge of technical strategy, but each business team can now manage its own projects.

Another significant advantage is that data is never stored at Future is Data, but directly on the customer’s premises. This guarantee of enhanced security is particularly reassuring for financial players subject to strict regulatory constraints.
